Local Interest

The traditional 4-H Program in Pierce County is open to all youth 8-18 years of age and our Clover Bud is for youth 4-H ages 5-7. Ages for the 2024 year are based on the 4-Her's age as of December 31, 2023. The main focus of the 4-H Program is learning by doing. A variety of projects for all interests are offered through 4-H. The 4-H year begins in October and runs through September.

The 4-H Council voted to have 4-Hers and Clover Kids/Clover Buds pay dues on 4-H Online. Dues will be $5 per 4-H'er/Clover Bud. Please see the linked instructions for details.

The 2024 Private Pesticide Applicators Training Date in Pierce County is March 14, at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.  They will be held in the Pierce County Court House in Extension Office Meeting Room.  More dates and locations for training.  Here
